Branson, Missouri is amongst the top vacation destinations in the United States. Each year Branson draws approximately 8 million visitors! Branson's shopping scene is one of a kind tourist destination. There is over 200 retailers in three outlet malls bringing shoppers reduced prices on name brand items. Branson's newest landmark is called the Branson Landing. The Landing is a massive 420 million dollar project that has transformed Downtown Branson and has brought riverfront shopping, nightlife entertainment, a convention center, and a 12 story luxury Hilton hotel. The Landing is a must see destination on your vacation to Branson.

Branson is also surrounded by 3 lakes (Table Rock, Taneycomo, and Bull Shoals). Beaches, jet skis, fishing tournaments, parasailing, camping, and swimming keeps families entertained all throughout the spring, summer, and fall.

Branson originally became famous for its country music shows. Well, that much hasn't changed. Whatever your taste in country music is, there is a theater here for you. Much of the classic country music from years past still thrives in Branson. Mickey Gilley, Mo Bandy, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Lennon Sisters, The Osmonds, The Gatlin Brothers, and many more still faithfully entertain the tourists.

The Christmas shows in Branson attract visitors well into December. Andy Williams still brings Christmas to Branson, and the whole town is lit up beautifully. There are also many shows for the kids. The Shanghai Circus bring you over 40 acrobats from China. They entertain families of all ages and are truly amazing. Trained pet shows, magic shows, amusement parks, putt putt courses, go-karts, and water parks can be found all throughout Branson to keep the kids well occupied.
