Yakov Smirnoff, the famous Russian comedian, has been performing live in Branson since 1992. Laughs, witty jokes, and funny tales are what its all about as Yakov (Branson's two time comedian of the year) takes the stage. Yakov's humor is a refreshing, patriotic, emotionally uplifting, clever at times, and downright silly at others.

Yakov firmly believes that laughter truly is the best medicine. He teaches you through humor that sometimes you have to look within yourself for happiness. Yakov Schmirnoff travels to select venues across the country but the large majority of the time he is performing in his own 1,800 seat theater in Branson. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone, or directly at the theater. It is advisable to order early however, because his show is often sold out during year. Children under 12 are FREE, adults cost 32 dollars. You can order "Elite" seating for just and extra three dollars and have a seat in rows 1-7.

For a man who came to this country with only 100 dollars in his pocket, his accomplishments are incredible. He has performed in movies such as "Moscow on the Hudson", "Brewster's Millions", "The Money Pit", and "Heartburn. Yakov has also performed on broadway, the library of conrgess during President Bush's inauguration, and countless television shows throughout the years.
