Nightlife, Bars, Clubs, and Entertainment

Branson, Missouri is world renowned for its Country music shows, theaters, amusement parks, lake activities, and Ozarks scenery. They also have plenty of entertainment going on long after the shows have ended, the amusement parks shut down, and the scenery temporarily lost in darkness. For those that enjoy late night dining, partying after dark, dancing, music, and nightlife entertainment, Branson has plenty to offer.

If the party you are with is undecided on where to go, I would strongly suggest hanging out down on the Branson Landing. The Branson Landing, (one of Branson's newest attractions) is one of Bransons largest projects ever. It is the home of over 100 specialty shops, restaurants, bars, and the nightlife comes to life after the stores close.

Some of the bars and night clubs on the Landing include : Ernie Biggs, Waxy O'Sheas, Bar Louie's, Garfield's, Famous Dave's, and Cantina Laredo's.

Ernie Biggs is the place to go if you want to get wild, dance, and sing along to your favorite songs (song requested by the crowd). The dueling piano bar gets the entire audience involved, and audience participation is a must! If you think that they won't play your type of music, just give it a try for 30 minutes and I'm sure you will have changed your mind. They play hits from the oldies, classic country, classic rock from the 70's and 80's, and any other requests without missing a step. They interact with the audience, bring the crowd on stage, and deliver non stop high energy entertainment right up till they close at 1:30 AM.

Bar Louie's is the place to go for the sports enthusiast that wants more than the usual "bar cuisine". Bar Louie's has a full menu that families with varied tastes will be very happy with. Plasma screen televisions surround the wrap-around bar in the center of the restaurant. For those that have children or aren't interested in sitting at the bar, booths and tables are spaced out generously throughout the restaurant / bar. Bar Louie's has a clean open air atmosphere suitable for the entire family. You can even choose to have outside seating and enjoy the outdoors, while enjoying your dinner along beautiful Lake Taneycomo's shoreline.

Bar Louie's also has the television "sport packages" available so you can be sure that you can tune in to your favorite games throughout the year. Drink and dinner specials occur frequently throughout the year as well.

For those that enjoy the "Irish Pub" atmosphere, then Waxy O'Shea"s is the bar for you! Authentic Irish dining, music, and a friendly atmosphere is what Waxy O'Shea's is all about. They have bands performing on weekends, and occasionally throughout the week. Some other activities at Waxy O'Shea's Irish Pub is "team trivia" contests, and comedy night. Think your funny? Step up to the stage and give it a shot!

Famous Dave's has a nice bar located on one side of the restaurant, with the dining taking place in another section. The food is great, friendly service, and they specialize in their famous "ribs and sauces".

Garfield's is the place to go if your family has a wide variety of tastes. They take pride in offering a wide selection of great tasting food, along with a full bar. Steaks, seafood, chicken, fajitas, pastas, salads, kids menu, and specialty items are available.

Joe's Crab Shack for the seafood lover, and Cantina Laredo's for those who love Mexican food (in a sophisticated atmosphere). Many more restaurants are scattered throughout the Branson Landing. Some notables are Charley's Grilled Subs, Liberty Tavern, Piztros, and Mama Milano's.

I just reviewed a few nightlife, and dining hot spots on the Branson Landing. The rest of Branson has too many clubs, bars, and late night dining restaurants to mention in one article.
