Branson, Missouri is well known for the majestic beauty of the landscape nestled in the heart of the Ozarks. Rolling hills, shimmering trees, Table Rock Lake, trickling streams, and roaring rivers make Branson one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the country. If you appreciate nature at its finest, and want to view Branson, Missouri as if you were looking down from the heavens, I strongly urge you to take some time out of your vacation to visit the Inspiration Tower.
The Inspiration Tower is a picturesque 230 foot tower that was magnificently built in 1989. Two elevators take you to the top of the tower and it has been said that you can see for over 90 miles from the observation deck. You can virtually see the entire town of Branson, the country music capital of the world. An audio tour informs you about the scenery, and supplies some very interesting historical information about the Branson area.
Be sure to bring your camera if you decide to visit the Inspiration Tower. The beauty of the scenery is breathtaking. You will surely want to capture the moment and treasure the view of the landscape forever. The tower provides a 360 degree view of the Ozarks, and even has an open air observation deck. Just as the Arch is the "gateway to the midwest", the Inspiration Tower has become the overlooking "mother" of Branson.
The Inspiration Tower is open 7 days a week year round. A snack bar, gift shop, and restrooms are available on the ground floor. The Inspiration Tower is handicapped accessible and is appropriate for all ages. The tower is located at 5586 West 76 Country Blvd. Its not hard to find, since you can see the tower from almost anywhere in Branson.
